This project was a design challenge for a possible job. The challenge was to create posters for a film or TV show. One option I went with was Netflix's Sweet Magnolias. The show is a drama about a trio of friends in a small southern town and the events they go through in their own lives as well as together.
I wanted the poster to be simple, with a focus on the three. There's some magnolia foliage in the background since the flower and name play a big part in the show. For the title font, I wanted something sweet and feminine. The pink color plays into that as well as serving as a contrast for the magnolia leaves.
